Union Secretary Aaron Braver '07 announced the creation of a of a committee to investigate the current online system used in Union elections.

In an email to the Union Executive Board, Braver wrote that the UNET Software Elections Committee (UNESCo) would find “possible solutions to our issues.”

Braver wrote that he expected any changes to take, at a minimum, six months to complete.

The committee formation comes after a Hoot investigation into the elections process exposed errors in way voters are authenticated in the voting system (Flaw in voting system brings election results into question, 3/23/06).
