Brandeis golf rebounded well at the Elms College Invitational at Chicopee, finishing 4th out of 11 teams with a score of 319. This placed the Judges 18 strokes behind first place Western New England (301), while only two shots separated Brandeis from sixth place Elms College. Bringing up the rear was Mitchell College with a score of 408.

Leading the scoring for Brandeis was Alex Podell 09 who shot a 76 for the day (39 front nine, 37 back nine), which put him in a tie for eighth out of 53 golfers. Following Podell was Lee Bloom 10 finishing two shots back with 78, tying him for eleventh followed by Aaron Hattenbach 09 with 82. Finishing off the scoring were Dan Shani 08 and Jeff Stein 08, shooting 83 and 84 respectively.
This tournament shows a move in the right direction after their 10th place finish at the Bowdoin Invitational back on Sept. 10. The Judges tee off again on Sept. 29 at 1:30 p.m. at the Litle Four Meet at the George Wright Golf Course.
