The Lydian String Quartet has been playing for 27 years and have gained a favored reputation. Their newest project is performing music from around the world. This weekend they will be letting your ears visit Austro-Hungary, Azerbaijan, and Germany. They will be performing Haydn Quartet in G Major, Op. 76 #1, Franghiz Ali-Zadeh “Oasis” for Quartet and Tape (1998), and Schumann Quartet in F Major, Op. 41 #2. $10 for students in advance, $15 at door. Pre-concert Lecture at 7:00 p.m. by Daniel Stepner.
