Condon, Premo win UAA Athlete of the Week-Award

Tim Condon 08 and Ben Premo 09 were selected as UAA Athletes of the Week in mens cross-country and soccer respectively.

Condon helped lead Brandeis cross-country to a runner-up finish, racing the five-mile course with a time of 25:46. His time placed him tenth out of 195 runners total and was good for fifth among NCAA Division III runners.

Condons performance played a role in helping the Judges top nationally ranked opponents Tufts (29th) and Amherst (31st), though they could not overcome Trinity College (Conn. 34th), who would finish as champions at the meet. This is Condon's first Athlete of the Week honor.

Premo, the third leading points scorer in the UAA, earned his second career Athlete of the Week honor thanks to a seven-point outburst this week.

Premo contributed an assist in the Judges loss against WPI back on the 13th before exploding against Albertus Magnus with 2 goals and 2 assists in a 6-0 rout at home Sept. 15. It was Premos second multi-goal game of the season and his fifth career game with 2 goals and 2 assists. Premo currently leads the now 2-2-3 Judges with 4 goals, 4 assists and 12 points total.
