On Dec. 5, Brandeis named Jennifer Walker as their new Vice President of Enrollment Management. Having served Brandeis for 17 years as Director of Admissions, Dean of Admissions and, most recently, as Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Walker steps into this role with a significant amount of experience.
In a “Brandeis Stories” article, Interim President Arthur Levine ’70 described Vice President Walker as “a dynamic enrollment professional and a respected leader. She is attuned to both the evolving needs of students and families throughout their college experience and the importance of aligning Brandeis to meet the challenges and opportunities in the current higher education marketplace.”
This article added that “Walker will continue to spearhead the undergraduate admissions office and assume oversight of student financial services and the registrar’s office under the direct leadership of the President. She will evaluate trends across the entire student enrollment continuum and partner with campus leaders on student retention, success, and satisfaction initiatives.”
Walker said that, “In the face of the changing landscape of higher education, enrollment management has become an integral function of universities and colleges and I’m honored to assume this role at Brandeis. It’s about more than attracting students–it’s also creating connections and systems that support their success and well-being throughout their educational journey.”
