After upsetting the second-seeded University of Southern Maine in the quarterfinals of the ECAC tournament, the Brandeis womens soccer team came into the semifinals looking to manufacture another upset victory against #3 seeded Clark University. However, this time the Judges fell tragically short, winding up on the wrong side of a 3-2 decision. Brandeis took the lead 15:32 into the game on a Lauren Gregor 06 goal, but Clark answered just three minutes later to tie the match. Clark then went ahead when Liz Adamcik tallied in the twenty-fifth minute. Luckily for the Judges, Meredith Millstein 09 was able to get the equalizer for Brandeis, and the game went into halftime with the scoreboard reading 2-2.

However, Amy Keyser scored 17 minutes into the second half to put Clark ahead for good. Brandeis took 7 shots on goal in the second half, but was not able to solve Clark goalkeeper Nolizwe Nandabula, who made four saves after replacing starter Tedi Link at halftime. Brandeis goaltender Betsy Medow 08 finished the game with five saves. The Lady Judges, who last year went 16-5 and made it to the final round of the ECAC tournament, ended the season with an 8-9-2 record. With the victory, Clark advanced into the ECAC final, where they proceeded to lose to fourth seeded Keene State by a 2-1 score.

Even though their season ended, the Womens Soccer team did receive some good news this week when it was announced that four members of the Lady Judges were named to the All-University Athletics Association team. Gregor was named to the first team, forward Lisa Kaplin 07 received second team honors, and defenders Brittany Douglass 07 and Melissa Gordon 07 both earned honorable mentions. This was the third appearance on the All-UAA team for Gregor, the second for Kaplan, and the first for Douglass and Gordon.
