The transition from Java City to Einstein Bros. Bagels will occur over the winter break, instead of in late September, according to Mark Collins, Vice-President for Campus Operations, and Michael Newmark, Director of Dining Services.

Our plan to get Einstein's installed has always been very aggressive, said Collins. At the same time, one of primary goals was to make this change with minimal disruption to students and other customers. Discussions over the course of the past month with Aramark, Einstein Bros., and the contractors responsible for the installation have led us to conclude that it would be best to do the installation over the semester break.

Newmark added that staff will be trained and the Einstein's operation will be in service and ready when students return in January.
