SEAC: Gran Torino and Pho Trip

As a kick-off to this semester, the Southeast Asian Club is going out to see Clint Eastwood’s new movie “Gran Torino” at the 7pm showing in the Harvard Square AMC theater. The cast of Gran Torino is primarily Hmong (a Southeast Asian ethnic group), and the movie deals with issues such as immigration and racial gangs in the US. Before the movie the club is going to eat pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) at Le’s Vietnamese in the Harvard Square Garage. We are taking the 5pm shuttle from Usdan to Harvard Square, so meet us at 4:50! Also, be sure to pick up discounted movie tickets ($6.50) offered by the Student Service Bureau in the Gameroom.

Come to the Mixed Heritage Group’s “Will it Blend?” second annual free dance party! Dance all night from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am January 31 in the Shapiro Camus Center’s Multipurpose Room. A professional DJ will be provided by Boston Sound Choice.
