On March 2, 2021, the University Athletic Association (UAA) announced the student- athletes of the 2020-2021 winter season who would be honored with All-Academic Recognition. According to the press release from the UAA, there were 856 student-athletes from eight universities participating in five men’s and four women’s sports that received this honor. The student-athletes awarded with this recognition are students that completed a year of college and had a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300. 

According to the press release from Brandeis Athletics, 78 Brandeis student-athletes were honored with All-Academic Recognition and named to the UAA All-Academic team. This included five women’s basketball players, four men’s basketball players, 10 from the women’s fencing team, seven from the men’s fencing team, 14 from the women’s swimming and diving team, seven members of the men’s swimming and diving team, 14 from the women’s indoor track and field team and 17 from the men’s indoor track and field team.
