Ranking some fruits: part 1

The last time I did a ranking I did vegetables. It is only right that I continue this series with fruit. I want to start by prefacing that I have not had a large portion of these fruits. But I will continue to provide the most elite commentary you could possibly read when it comes to fruit. This week I am going to rank fruits from 25-50. Look into next week if you want to see how I rank the rest of the fruits.

  1. Granadilla

We start with a fruit that I have never had before. When I looked it up I thought it looked funky so 50 it goes.

  1. Tamarind

I have no comments cause I have never had it before. It looks like a brown bean.

  1. Longan

LOGAN IS FROM FRANCE AND IS A FRUIT WHAT ELSE IS HE HIDING? A SECOND FAMILY AND TWO KIDS WITH A HOUSE HE PUT A MORTGAGE DOWN ON? Anyways, I’ve never had this fruit before.

  1. Rose Apple

Alright, so roses and apples together. That doesn’t seem like a fun combination.

  1. Soursop

So this is where sour patch kids come from.

  1. Amla

They actually look really cool, but I have never had them before. They are apparently very important in Indian traditional medicine

  1. Star apple

There are so many types of apples. I have definitely never heard of this before 20 minutes ago.

  1. Mangosteen

This fruit looks like one of those things when people make cake that looks like fruit. But in reality it’s cake but turns out to be beans. – Victoria Morrongiello

  1. Uchuva

It looks really bright and that is fun.

  1. Tamarillo

Apparently, they are tree tomatoes. I like normal tomatoes but I have never had these before so I can’t rank them higher.

  1. Quince

Fifteen.

  1. Caruba

After reading the description of this fruit, I think it’s probably very tasty. However, I never had it before, but I want to now.

  1. Durian

I don’t really remember what it tastes like. All I know is that it smells bad.

  1. Mulberry

Budget blackberry.

  1. Rambutan

This sounds like an animal but in reality is a fun fruit.

  1. Pomelo

It kinda reminds me of a grapefruit. Not a good grapefruit but a grapefruit.

  1. Persimmon

Apparently, there is a Chinese belief that if you eat this at the same time as crabs, you can get sick and die.

  1. Blackcurrant

I have never actually had this as a fruit before, however as a candy, I can tell you that it’s great.

  1. Avocado

Yes it is on the list again. No, I do not think that avocado is this bad. I am just putting it here out of principle.

  1. Fig

Fig newtons are great, but how good are figs outside of the snack.

  1. Pomegranate

I am completely indifferent to pomegranates.

  1. Lime

I think as a flavoring, lime is pretty good. However, just eating limes feels wrong.

  1. Jackfruit

As opposed to jackass.

  1. Pineapple

It shouldn’t be on pizza, but it is not terrible on it.

  1. Apricot

They are similar to peaches, which is about all I know about them. I do enjoy dry apricots though.

  1. Dragon Fruit

Dragon fruit has an interesting taste. The only reason why I don’t put it higher is because sometimes the texture is strange. Otherwise, it’s great. It’s got a cool name and tastes good.

This week is less interesting because I have not had half of these fruits. Next week’s issue will include the best 25 fruits and a not at all incorrect ranking of them.
