The Judges competed in their first meet of the year at the Wheaton College Lyon Invitational. The women’s team placed third out of seven teams with 76 points, while the men finished sixth with 26 points.
On the women’s side, in the one-mile run, Natalie Hattan ’22 placed second, Juliette Intrieri ’24 placed third, Erika Karlin ’22 placed seventh, Zada Forde ’25 placed eighth and Adah Anderson ’25 placed 25th. In the 800 meter run, Christina McPhillips ’23 finished third, with a time of 2:26.13. Victoria Morrongiello ’23 finished fifth, a second behind with 2:27.07 and Olivia Zarzycki ’24 finished seventh, with 2:29.75.
In the 200 meter dash, Devin Hiltunen ’23 placed second, with a time of 26.49. Elizabeth Korn ’24 placed 11th, Anna Touitou ’22 placed 16th, Alya Campbell ’24 placed 18th, Hannah Bohbot-Dridi ’25 placed 25th, Ianna Gilbert ’24 placed while Gabriel Tercatin ’22 placed 31st.
In the 60 meter dash, Hiltunen placed third, Smiley Huynh ’25 placed 10th, Touitou placed 14th, Gilbert placed 16th, Elizabeth Korn ’25 placed 17th, Hailey Crane ’25 placed 20th, Tercatin ’23 placed 21st and Emma Keohane ’25 placed 24th.
In the 4×200-meter relay Campbell, Hiltunen, Korn and Touitou, placed second, while Hattan, Intrieri, McPhillips and Morrongiello placed third.
Huynh placed third in the long jump with 5.06 meters and a fifth in the pole vault with 3.10 meters. In high jump, Zarzycki placed third, Kirsten Man ’25 placed fifth and Keohane placed sixth. In 60-meter hurdles, Campbell placed second. Man also jumped in the women’s triple jump with a distance of 9.76m.
On the men’s side, in the one mile run Jack Guerra ’22 placed 17th, Spencer Lee ’25 placed 24th and Lucas Dia ’25 placed 25th. In the 400 meter dash Young Wang ’25 placed ninth with 55.96, Henry Nguyen ’25 placed 10th, just behind Wang with a time of 56.0. The rest of the judges in the 400 meter were Taylor Diamond ’23 who placed 13th, Simon Goode ’25 who placed 15th and Daniel Chodorow ’24 who placed 16th. In the 200 meter dash, Reese Farquhar ’22 placed second and Jamie O’Neil ’22 placed 7th. In the 60 meter dash, Farquhar placed seventh.
In the 4×400-meter relay Farquhar, Nguyen, O’Neil and Samuel Kim ’24 placed fourth with a time of 3:37.66. In men’s Shot Put Thomas Vandalovsky ’23 placed third with a distance of 13.59 meters, while Zachary Reynolds ’23 placed ninth.
Their next competition will take place on Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Boston University Terrier Classic.
