To acquire wisdom, one must observe

POETRY: Ambiguous Love…

There are things we don’t say

and things we don’t mean,

but what happens when something’s

right in between?

I still feel each one

Each palm of his hand

like a lingering kiss

Wherever they land

I can’t stop or slow down

or rest or take cover

for when the morning comes

this night won’t be over

What will I do… when my lips start to slip

When the tears start to break

and my nose starts to drip?

What will I do… when my mind starts to slip

When my heart starts to break

and my soul starts to rip?

Now, There are things we don’t say

and things we don’t mean,

but this is what happens

when you’re stuck in between.
