The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is one of our most underrated clubs. Everyone knows about Springfest, our epic end of year concert, but CAB has events all year round. In fact, you can audition to be a Springfest opener very soon! If this is your first year at Brandeis, before the headliner, student musician groups perform and get to showcase their talent in a professional setting.
CAB recently hosted an event called “Eggos and Legos,” in which you can snack on delicious waffles and fruit while building Legos. What a fun and amazing stress-busting experience! It was a well attended event with lots of cute builds to go around held in the Ridgewood Commons. Legos are such a relaxing project, especially when the end result is really visually aesthetic and fits the vibe of your space. In addition, focusing on building can be a good way to stop thinking for a few minutes about homework and exams, and just get some good stress free time. Ridgewood felt like the perfect place for such an event, being that it’s so bright and sunny. With midterms being in full swing, this was also the perfect time in the semester to help students chill with their friends.
Upcoming events include a Parents Weekend Bingo event on Oct. 24 and a Campfire & Chill on Oct. 27 that looks so cute and fun. If you aren’t already signed up, definitely keep an eye on them for fun ways to relax with your friends, and make sure you follow CAB on Instagram to stay up to date on all future events.
