Thank you for writing to SSIS! Generally, orgasms are moments of intense sexual pleasure. Orgasms can be experienced differently by each individual; however, some universal indicators that one has reached orgasm include physical sensations such as increased heart rate and breathing and penile ejaculation, emotional reactions such as feelings of intense pleasure and euphoria and other responses such as twitching or shaking.
It’s important to mention that not everyone experiences orgasms in the same way. One might feel all of these signs, a few of them or none at all. Orgasms are generally thought of as the goal or best part of sex, but that does not have to be true for everyone, and not experiencing an orgasm does not indicate that the sexual experience was a negative one. If you would like more detailed information about this topic or would like to speak to one of our members directly, you can always reach out to SSIS at 586-ASK-SSIS to set up an after-hours appointment or come in during our open office hours in SCC 324, where we are always happy to work with you further.
